Youth Work Ireland is pleased to publish its 2025 Trustees’ Report, highlighting another year of working alongside our 20 Member Youth Services to inspire, educate and empower young people across Ireland. The report outlines the achievements, impact and governance of the organisation during 2025 and reflects our continued commitment to creating an Ireland of equality, access and participation for all young people.
As a federation of 20 independent youth services, Youth Work Ireland supports hundreds of youth clubs, targeted youth projects, youth diversion projects, youth information centres and a wide range of educational and recreational opportunities for young people nationwide. The report demonstrates the collective strength of the federation and the positive difference youth work continues to make in communities across the country.
The work of the National Office throughout 2025 was guided by the four pillars of the Youth Work Ireland Strategic Statement 2022-2027: Communication, Advocacy, Support and Impact. Through these pillars, the organisation continued to champion the needs and rights of young people, strengthen supports for Member Youth Services, and demonstrate the value and impact of youth work.
The report also outlines the organisation’s ongoing commitment to the highest standards of governance, transparency and accountability, ensuring Youth Work Ireland remains a trusted voice for young people and youth work nationally.
We would like to thank our staff, volunteers, trustees, partners, funders and, most importantly, the thousands of young people who engage with Youth Work Ireland services each year. Their energy, commitment and participation continue to shape and strengthen our work.
