Infonomics 2.0 Facts Still Matter – Conference is a timely and important youth-focused event taking place at the Radisson Blu Royal Dublin Hotel on Tuesday, 17 November, featuring a keynote address from renowned journalist and entrepreneur Mark Little. At a time when misinformation, disinformation, fake news and propaganda increasingly shape how young people understand the world, the conference will explore how we can protect and strengthen young people’s right to accurate, reliable and trustworthy information. Bringing together policymakers, youth workers, academics and practitioners, the event will examine the challenges and opportunities presented by social media, artificial intelligence and emerging digital technologies.

Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, plenary sessions and interactive workshops, the conference will provide a platform to debate, inform and help shape the future of youth information in Ireland, ensuring young people are equipped with the skills, support and confidence needed to navigate today’s complex information landscape and participate fully in society and democracy.
