LOUDER Youth: Amplifying Young Voices Across Ireland
For Youth Work Ireland Week 2026, we are launching LOUDER Youth a national campaign that shines a spotlight on young people across Ireland who are speaking out, taking action, and creating change in their communities. From mental health and education to climate action, equality, and global justice, young people are already leading conversations on the issues that matter most. LOUDER Youth is about making that work visible, celebrating youth activism, amplifying youth voice, and inspiring others to get involved.
By sharing these voices, LOUDER Youth aims to normalise activism as something young people do every day, creating a ripple effect where youth voice inspires youth action.
A Week of Youth Voice and Action: Running over the course of one week, the LOUDER Youth campaign will feature a dynamic mix of content across social media platforms, each day building momentum and deepening engagement.
Getting LOUDER: The campaign will kick off with a powerful introduction to LOUDER Youth, highlighting the energy, diversity, and passion of young activists across the country.
Meet the Activists: Across the week, we will introduce a range of young people involved in activism within their communities. These profiles will highlight who they are, what they care about, and why it matters to them, bringing forward authentic voices and lived experiences from across Ireland.
Why It Matters: Young people will share their perspectives on the issues they are passionate about, offering insight into the realities they face and the change they want to see. These stories will underline the importance of listening to and valuing youth voice.
What Activism Looks Like: The campaign will also showcase the many forms activism can take from local youth projects and workshops to community initiatives and awareness-raising campaigns. By highlighting these actions, we aim to show that activism is already happening and is accessible to all young people.
