Youth Work Ireland Week took place in April and was a fantastic wasy to celebrate, showcase, and champion the life-changing impact of youth work across the country!
From Saturday, April 5th to Saturday, April 12th, communities all over Ireland came together to highlight the energy, creativity, and care that youth services bring to young people every single day.
Spotlight on Youth Work for All
Each year, we focus on an issue that matters most to young people and youth workers. For 2025, we shone a spotlight on our national campaign—Youth Work for All. This campaign calls for fair funding, proper resources, and recognition for the essential services youth workers and volunteers provide. Because youth work isn’t just something that’s “nice to have”—it’s a vital support system that strengthens young lives and entire communities.
Across our member youth services hundrets of events and activities took place with young people taking part in the Connection, Creativity and Community activity pack

Real Stories. Real Impact.
Throughout the week, we heard directly from young people, youth workers, and volunteers about what they felt Youth Work for All meant to them. These stories highlighted the many ways youth work helps young people feel included, supported, confident, and heard. It’s a powerful reminder of why this work matters—and why we must continue to invest in it.
