Job Vacancy – Finance Adminstrator
The Finance Administrator will work closely with and report to the Head of Finance in Youth Work Ireland National Office. Their duties will include the processing of a small monthly payroll, carrying out the day-to-day requirements of the finance office, including Debtors/Creditors/Banking and general administration duties.
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for the recording of all income and the processing of Statutory and European Grants and Funding. The Finance Administrator will liaise and work with their colleagues in National Office and will also assist and work alongside our Members within the Federation of Youth Work Ireland, Members of the Board of Youth Work Ireland, and Outside Agencies/Funders. In addition, the Finance Administrator will administer the Insurances for the National Office and Club insurance for our Member Youth Services.
Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge and experience in working within the finance function with five years’ experience in similar role preferably in the ‘not for profit’ sector. Knowledge of, and commitment to, the voluntary and community sector would also be an advantage. An IATI or Payroll Qualification would be an advantage but not a requirement.
The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of, and experience in the report and administering of Statutory Grants and European Funding, Payroll, and the day-to-day workings of the Finance Function. A Knowledge of SAGE 50 accounts would also be an advantage.
Finance Administrator Salary Scale: €31,9463 to €49,910 (point 1 to 18). Entry Point dependant upon experience and qualifications but will be no higher than point 8 on the Finance Administrator scale.
Working Hours: 35 Hour Working Week.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days plus Youth Work Ireland Christmas Holidays.
