FDYS Celebrates it 60 Years Anniversary

FDYS this year celebrated its 60th anniversary working with young people and local communities in Co Wexford. They celebrated this amazing achievement with a special event in Enniscorthy which was a tribute to the current and past members of FDYS.

FDYS offers so many opportunities to young people in Wexford town and county under the management of CEO Kieran and his incredible team of staff and volunteers. FDYS’s vision is for all young people to be enabled to realise their maximum potential and all of the staff and members of FDYS work together to make this a workable vision for them.

Speaking at the event, Chair person Emily McCann said 

“FDYS has a wide selection of services for young people both voluntary and resourced schemes. We cover a large variety of schemes all over the county and I am delighted to welcome some of our stakeholders here tonight . From youth diversion projects, to youth counselling , youth work projects UBU, LGBT plus support , Comhairle Na Nog , detached youth work ,youth info project ,traveller projects, Roma projects, youth clubs 16 active and several more set to open , CBDI and our early year services… our services are wide and varied and all play an essential part in the development of the young people in our county”.
